The location and quiet of the hotel (because we were the only guests for the first night)
The room was small with no clear window, and nothing like the picture on the website. No hot breakfast even though it was charged extra.

Actually everything was cool, my next choice again in Liverpool. Decent service, helpful staff, awesome location. The room was adequate and absolutely great, the bed was comfy. Climate control, iron/ironing board and netflix were provided for a really very peaceful stay.

Location is good - close to good restaurants on Lark Lane
Room was very small, the bathroom was dirty and had a damp, cracked ceiling. There was no provision for evening dining. Only 1 pillow each - we asked for more and they were delivered without pillowcases. Bar was ok but no crisps or nuts.
-
Spectacular location, VERY WELCOMING staff, lots of food for the full English breakfast. Well soundproofed unit. Tidy and absolutely spotless hotel in Sefton Park district. Perfect service within 0.5 km of the airport.
There was a bit small bed in my room.

Marvellous location, very good breakfast and friendly people. Big room with free Wi Fi. We were surprised by the garden too. The whole experience was excellent, no complaints, recommend.
-
It's excellent place for visiting some must see attractions in Liverpool. The reception staff does a fabulous job. Outstanding, excellent rooms. The restaurant was located within 400 metres.
-
Location was good, close to restaurants and the car park is easy
-
Accommodating staff, bright room, free parking available. Everything created a cheerful atmosphere. Recommend for adults.
-
Stylish hotel, beautiful location in the countryside
It was very warm. Since the hotel is old, there is no air conditioning and the rooms could be badly ventilated.
-
Clean, tidy rooms.
The shower was too hot.
-
fine, but room not very clean and bathroom dirty around bath room looking tired

Only in town for one night for daughters graduation but no complaints whatsoever. A decent buffet breakfast and free early evening bar along with a comfortable room on the front of the hotel with little or no traffic noise. Overlooks Sefton Park which, for me, is the most attractive part of Liverpool. Free parking at the hotel and a taxi to the city centre will cost c£5. So for £79 a very good deal and will stay there again.

The staff were very friendly. The location is excellent and the park opposite is beautiful for walking
I stayed in this hotel in March 2011 and the room I had was quite nice, we had a double bed and 2 single beds. I booked an executive twin room this time for my young son and myself. I was very disappointed. The room was very small with two tiny single uncomfortable beds, the carpet was very badly stained, the dated pine furniture was falling apart and the shower in the bathroom was the worst I have ever seen, there was hardly any water comimg from it. The only plus sign for paying extra for an executive room was the view. Would not pay for this again if I ever decide to stay there
